Connect Community Church Hamilton was formed through the amalgamation of Hill Park Bible Church and Meadow Creek Community Church, bringing together two congregations with a shared commitment to biblical teaching, worship, community outreach, and missions. The merger was unanimously approved by both churches and the first combined service was held on December 24, 2017, under the leadership of Pastors Paul Brittain and Raj Sandhu. In 2018, the church officially adopted the name Connect Community Church Hamilton, reflecting a renewed vision for ministry in Hamilton. Building on the strengths and histories of both congregations, Connect Community Church continues to serve people of all ages while remaining committed to sharing the message of Christ and fostering a welcoming community of faith.
The church’s roots extend back more than six decades. Meadow Creek Community Church was founded in 2001 and quickly grew as a vibrant congregation serving West Hamilton and Ancaster. Hill Park Bible Church traces its origins to 1955, when a small group of Hamilton Mountain residents began meeting for prayer, fellowship, worship, and preaching with the vision of establishing a new Associated Gospel Church. Originally known as Mountain Gospel Church, the congregation became part of the Associated Gospel Churches in 1956, built its first permanent church home in 1959, expanded through the decades, and merged with Caroline Gospel Church in 1976 before adopting the name Hill Park Bible Church in 1996. Together, these rich histories form the foundation of Connect Community Church Hamilton today.
